We return to field hockey on Off The Podium as we sit down with Canadian Olympian Oliver Scholfield to talk about his journey through the sport and Olympic experience. Oliver shares why he stuck with hockey from a young age, the transition from playing in the UK to Canada, and his passion for helping the sport grow. We also uncover Team Canada’s unusual team mascot and why a certain trip to Malaysia may have left them off the invitation list!

We bring field hockey to Off The Podium for the first time as we sit down with Hockeyroos Olympian Ashleigh Nelson to talk about her journey from rural Western Australia to London 2012. Ashleigh reflects on narrowly missing Beijing 2008, breaking into the Australian team and playing some of the best hockey of her career. She also shares some brilliant stories about repeatedly meeting the Queen and one very memorable UK chicken sandwich experience!

The 'vault' opens back to 2011 as Ben brings you his interview with the only athlete he can say he used to compete against in field hockey player Eddie Ockenden. Eddie talks about his amazing career in the sport, his time at the Olympics and talks about the memories of playing against Ben back in their junior days.
